So, the club acquitted itself well yesterday, taking on a very hilly route to the Ommegang Brewery and back. 102 miles and about 8200 feet of climbing. Many Thanks are due to Jonathan Schaller for finding such a fabulous route. Special thanks are owed to Erik Moore and Deb Bordelon for hosting the post-ride feeding frenzy. We cannot overlook Pete Radosta, who provided more sausages than even this hungry crowd could consume. And, it was especially nice that Bill Graber turned this into a family event. Congratulations to Alana Graber for putting up with a bunch of middle aged guys complaining about their various injuries. We made two new friends on the ride: 1] Eric, who ran thirty miles the night before but did these hills on his tri bike anyway (Bastard), and 2] Al: our local brevet superstar, who reminded us that all you need to do the distance is to put in the time, and that if you do so, you can have all the french fries you want.
